Una de las instituciones culturales latinas más importantes de la ciudad y que ahora mismo están renovando, El Museo del Barrio, ha lanzado su convocatoria para su evento anual Cielo Abierto y que hace unos años atrás cubrimos mientras trabajábamos por allá. Así que para quienes desean que su corto, se proyecte en el Spanish Harlem de Nueva York, aquí va la invitación en inglés...
This is an open call for short films submissions to be shown in El Museo’s Cielo Abierto, on September 19th. The submission can be of any genre or category. Films can be in Spanish but they must have English subtitles, and there must be a preview and screening copy available in English or with English subtitles, except music videos and films without dialogue. To ensure that your film will be considered for the 2009 Summer Series your film must be postmarked on or before the applicable deadline: August 1, 2009.

Screening Rights• Should your work be selected to be part of Cielo Abierto, El Museo reserves the right to screen your film at any Rooftop screening throughout the summer, between the dates of May 15th and September 30th, 2009.• After September 30th, 2009, El Museo shall not screen any submitted films without the expressed consent of the filmmaker.
